Come enjoy this peaceful 2 bedroom, two bath chalet on almost a full private acre in the trees at Skyforest, CA. The house is called "Whispering Pines" because you can hear the wind through the trees and listen to chickadees call to each other while swinging in the hammock on your private deck. At night, sit snuggly around the warm fire pit on the huge deck to watch the brilliant stars overhead. Antique shops, restaurants, groceries, the Lake Arrowhead are all within 5-10 minutes by car. Snow Valley is about 25 minutes away.The house sleeps 10 with a bunk room with dual bunk beds, a private bedroom with either two twins or a King, and two Queen sofa beds. There is a detached two car garage to protect your vehicle from the elements. If you would like to rent the Chalet, "Whispering Pines" as a writer's retreat, a separate, detached writer's room can be made available for an additional fee. Prices include Cable TV, VCR/DVD, and High Speed Internet. Some family friendly movies and games are available in the chalet.
